Friends call me "Rod". Close family call me "Ra-Ra". I have even been called "Rodrick". However, the correct pronunciation of my name is "Rod-er-rick."
Washington D.C. is my hometown. It is where I was born and raised with my large family of seven. Being the second oldest out of five left no time for selfishness. I grew up in a community where life was about sharing. Fortunately enough for me, by the time I was twelve I discovered one of the most intimate ways of sharing through art.
I started off as a dancer in elementary school. Towards Jr. High I had incorporated those dance lessons into musical theater styled church plays. By the timed I reached High School, I began to focus more on acting with classes, drama clubs, and Shakespeare competitions. Needless to say, I went on to pursue craft of acting in Higher Education.
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Performing Arts with a Concentration in Theater at Johnson C. Smith University. Three years later I would receive my Master's of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from Regent University. I am a loving husband and father first. Acting and modeling are my full time jobs.
